HeavyM offers a free demo version with unlimited access to features—no time limit and no credit card needed—but exports your work with a watermark and disables project saving/loading . You just provide your email grab the .exe (Windows) or .dmg (macOS) and install—simple as that .

Technical Setup Details

1. Download & install:

   • Visit HeavyM’s website and fill in your email. You’ll receive a download link for your OS 

   • Run the installer (.exe on Windows .dmg on macOS) and follow prompts.

2. First launch:

   • You can explore all features—draw layers apply effects set audio reactivity define projector setups.

   • The demo version watermarks your output and disables saving/loading.

3. Hardware setup for live use:

   • Connect projector(s). HeavyM supports multiple outputs including edge-blending.

   • Optional: hook up MIDI OSC or DMX controllers for live-performance control.

   • Stream in sources via NDI Spout Syphon webcams etc.

4. Output:

   • Present live or export to high-quality video for future installations
